Who made it

This bag was handwoven by the artisans of Fundación La Otra Vuelta, a non-profit foundation of 46 artisan associates in Sincelejo, Colombia. Community elders braid the caña flecha, a native Colombian palm fibre, by hand, strand by strand, and the foundation's artisans turn those braids into the bag you'll be carrying. The foundation pays its artisans a fairer price for every braid, so your bag helps keep a living tradition, and the people behind it, thriving.
